This is a Gulper eel. They are 3-6 feet long. For their size, they have relatively small eyes. The tip of the tail glows pink or red. This is how they attract their food. The Gulper Eel catches its food by using it's mouth as a net. What do they eat? They feed on fish, plankton, copepods and shrimp. They are found between the depths of 500-6, 000 feet. They are either dark green or black.
